What are Wedding Vow Renewals?
Amanda Wilcox • Mar 01, 2023

It’s possible to renew your wedding vows any time after your wedding day, regardless of whether you had a church wedding or not. It’s a bit like a marriage refresher and is often used on special anniversaries, or even after a period of difficulty in a marriage.

Rings can be blessed as part of this service too, either your existing wedding rings, or perhaps you have special rings, like eternity rings.

There are also many other personal reasons too. For example, you and your partner may have had children since your wedding and want to include them in your second ceremony.

“It’s heart-warming to see that many couples are reaffirming their commitment to one another, whether they have been married five years or five decades.

“Our research showed that for more than a third (35%) of couples, renewing their vows coincides with a milestone anniversary, and a quarter (27%) see this as an opportunity to have the wedding they always dreamed of but perhaps couldn’t afford the first time around.

It’s becoming more and more popular for couples to elope instead of having a big wedding day

Tony and I are really enjoying meeting our couples in person or online on Zoom or Whatsapp to hear more of their ideas to build the most perfect day for each and everyone of them. The planning for our 2023 and now 2024 weddings is in full swing and it's getting so very exciting. Tony and I cannot wait. Bring on the fun, love and laughter of each and every love story
